ShyRa Salon's Founder
Juliette Vinning's career began in the early 1980's. Because of her gifts and talents she was chosen to be a platform artist for the Fernandez Corporation in 1983. From there she became a consultant and hair stylist for Regis where Juliette learned many aspects of the hair industry. In 1986 she felt it necessary to become an educator to aid other stylists in their efforts to become their absolute best.
In 1988 Juliette opened her first salon: Dr. Christy's, where she became better known as the "Hair Doctor" for her knowledge and ability to restore damaged hair. In 1992 she moved into a larger full service salon which also incorporated nail techs and massage therapists. Juliette went on to open her third upscale salon, called ShyRa, in 2006, which she located on Coursey Boulevard in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
After receiving various inquiries from clients as well as other stylists, Juliette began researching the subject of hair replacement. She found that there is a serious lack of education dealing with hair replacement and Juliette felt it necessary to provide stylists and barbers with the most accurate and current informational available. In order to fill this educational gap, Juliette has set up her national seminars teaching stylists of all types the proper way to apply, maintain and care for Lace Wigs.
